Date set for national community nursing event

Nurses who work in the community are invited to attend a conference dedicated to the profession in November.

Community Nursing Now is hosting a national conference for the second time after the network’s inaugural event last year was successful.

In 2022, more than 400 healthcare professionals attended the Community Nursing Now national conference, which included a range of insightful presentations and panel discussions led by leading figures from the world of nursing.

The free-to-attend event will now take place virtually on Friday, November 3, after it was postponed by a month due to a clash with a similar event.

Event manager Emily Mayhew said: “At Community Nursing Now we are dedicated to supporting community and district nurses and our national conference is one of the key ways we can share with them examples of best practice as well as the latest news and innovations.

“This year’s conference will once again be free to attend for all the UK’s community and district nurses and will cover the latest hot topics in diabetes, wound care and palliative care.”

The Community Nursing Now network was launched last year to support the UK’s community and district nurses.
