Date set for Early-Career Physicians and Investigators Conference

Physicians starting out in their career can attend a conference exclusive for early careers next month.

The event – Early-career Physicians and Investigators Conference (EPIC) – will be held on Wednesday, September 28, between 5pm and 9pm, as well as on Thursday, September 29, from 8.30am to 4pm.

Supported by the University of Birmingham, the conference will enable early-career researchers and clinicians to present work in a constructive and friendly environment, whilst making vital connections.

The presentations can be of anything the early careers would like to present including interesting case, case series, audit, QIP or any other forms of research in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. The deadline to submit an abstract is Thursday, August 10.

Healthcare professionals have until Wednesday, August 30, to register for the conference, which is being held at the Edgbaston Park Hotel in Birmingham.
